My Felt Bears (and the pattern)

Image
I recently revisited a series of small felt bears that I originally created a few years ago. Back then, I already liked their raw and expressive look. Very simple shapes, just a few lines, but a lot of character. The blanket stitch is intentionally visible — it’s part of the drawing as much as the construction. Working on them again now, I realized I still like them just as much. They have something a bit naive, almost childlike, but with very strong expressions. That’s what made me want to turn them into a pattern. The idea stayed the same: keep it simple, accessible, no sewing machine needed, and very little material. A project you can start easily, while still having a strong visual identity. The pattern includes all the steps, with stitch diagrams and printable templates. 👉 The pattern is available here:  CocoFlower Atelier

🌼 Dive into Spring with my Vintage-Inspired RabStar Plush Bunnies! 🌼

Image
Hello to all bunny enthusiasts and vintage aficionados! With Easter fast approaching, I'm excited to introduce you to my latest creations: the Groovy Seventies-inspired RabStar plush bunnies! 🐰💐 Inspired by the vibrant hues and vibes of the 70s, these adorable bunnies embody the retro charm and hippie spirit of that era. Crafted from vintage floral fabrics in shades of yellow, pink, and orange, they bring a touch of springtime joy wherever they go. Each bunny is unique, with three different designs to choose from: geometric patterns, timeless floral prints, or modern Scandinavian-inspired motifs. Each one is meticulously hand embroidered with love and attention to detail. You can find my RabStar plush bunnies on display and available for purchase at the International House de Esbjerg . Little Fabric Dogs Plushes

Image
Following my visit to Fanø , I wanted to make little dogs in embroidered fabric in the spirit of Staffordshire porcelain . I have chosen some pretty fabrics (French Jouy toile, French Provençal fabric, navy cotton, polka dot and star cotton) and drew the pattern for my creatures. The eyes, ears, tail and nose are made from colorful felt. They are glued and embroidered with cotton thread. A few pretty buttons are sewn on the tail. I added beads for the nose and eyes. The finishing touch: a necklace of glass beads and a silver-plated brass chain. The front and back of the dog are embroidered together and the whole dog is stuffed by recycled polyester. And VOILA, a few hours later my cute little critters are finished. Find them in my creative shop: cocoflower.net

Reinventing and finding yourself again - New in Denmark

Image
And now I’m in Denmark ! Here, everything has to start again. Everything has to be discovered.A new language, a new culture, new habits. But what a joy it is to have everything to explore and create. It's a new youth in a way. And there's nothing better for boosting inspiration. Some news after a long silence. Here I am, in Denmark! A new country, new adventures for a new part of my life. At 50, it's great! It was in 2013, in Paris, that I set up my little business of handmade creations: jewelry, decorations, accessories.   But the artistic adventure began much earlier for me, in 2009, with drawing, comics and the creation of collectible dolls.   I've sold all over the world on many handmade platforms (Etsy, Amazon, Dawanda, ALM, UGM, etc), some of which don't even exist anymore..lol... I've also taken part in many handmade markets, exhibitions and pop-ups in France, Germany and even the United States. 4 years ago, I returned to my roots in Brittany (Bretagne)...
