My Felt Bears (and the pattern)
I recently revisited a series of small felt bears that I originally created a few years ago. Back then, I already liked their raw and expressive look. Very simple shapes, just a few lines, but a lot of character. The blanket stitch is intentionally visible — it’s part of the drawing as much as the construction. Working on them again now, I realized I still like them just as much. They have something a bit naive, almost childlike, but with very strong expressions. That’s what made me want to turn them into a pattern. The idea stayed the same: keep it simple, accessible, no sewing machine needed, and very little material. A project you can start easily, while still having a strong visual identity. The pattern includes all the steps, with stitch diagrams and printable templates. 👉 The pattern is available here: CocoFlower Atelier
